TYTAN
Tytan are a British heavy metal band formed out of the new wave of British heavy metal and are best known for their strong melodies.
in 1981 by the former Angel Witch rhythm section, bassist Kevin Riddles and drummer Dave Dufort (ex-E. F. Band), Scottish vocalist Norman 'Kal' Swan, and guitarists guitarists Steve Gibbs. Stuart Adams left and Gary Owens had a brief stay before Steve Mann(ex-Liar, Lionheart) joined. They formed out of the new wave of British heavy metal movement and are best known for their strong melodies.
Signed to Kamaflage Records, a subsidiary of DJM, Tytan recorded their lone album at Ramport Studios in Battersea with Will Reid-Dick manning the boards. Former Judas Priest and Lionheart drummer Les Binks joined the band just in time for the recording in place of Dave Dufort. .Binks would be replaced by Tony Boden on the band's October 1982 UK tour with the Tygers Of Pan Tang who was gone shortly thereafter, replaced by Simon Wright..
Unfortunately, Kamaflage folded before the album was released but managed to release 'Blind Men and Fools' in both 7" and 12" formats in September 1982 before the band split up the following summer.
In 1985, London-based label Metal Masters released the shelved Tytan tapes as the Rough Justice LP. A Japanese CD bootleg followed in the early 1990s, before Majestic Rock Records gave the album an official CD re-issue in 2004 and again in 2006, with 4 BBC 'Friday Rock Show' session live tracks ('Cold Bitch', 'The Watcher', 'Far Side of Destiny' & 'Blind Men and Fools') and a live DVD added as bonus on the second edition.
In 2012, invitated to perform at the Keep It True XV Festival in Germany, Tytan reformed, with a revised line-up. Original band members Kevin Riddles, Steve Gibbs and Steve Mann were joined by vocalist Tom Barna, Andrew Thompson on keyboards, and Angel Witch drummer Andrew Prestidge. Guitarist Steve Gibbs left the band in 2014. Drummer's Chris Benton and Mikey Ciancio during 2012 and 2013 and 2015-17 saw James Wise in the role, followed by current drummer Seth Markes. Dave Strange (Midnight Messiah) joining in Nov 2014 when Steve Mann departed.. Tom Barna quit in August 2017, and Tony Coldham (The Deep) became the new Vocalist until leaving in Oct 2018...New vocalist Grant Foster joining the band in December 2018.
The band recorded follow up album to "Rough Justice" in 2016 with Chris Tsangarides for High Roller Records, "Justice Served" , they continue to tour and appear at British and European festivals. After a busy 2018 of gigs and festivals, the band are writing a 3rd album to be recorded in 2019.

BURNING
Burning werd in 2013 opgericht door Jan Engelkes (Chainz). Samen met Andy Haandrikman (The Wounded) en Johnny Karst begon de zoektocht naar een zanger en die vonden ze in Hugo Koch (Rise & Burn/Rumbones). De band was compleet met tweede gitarist Renee Knegt. Andy en Jan zijn onlangs nog vervangen door drummer Mas Prevoo en bassist Robin Zinger.
De single ‘Something is Lurking in the Dark’ werd opgenomen in maart 2014, en beleefde zijn première live op het Very ‘Eavy Festival in 2014. De bijbehorende clip werd inmiddels al meer dan 200.000 keer bekeken en de band verkocht nagenoeg alle singles die werden geperst.
Meteen na het verschijnen van de single dook de band de studio in om te beginnen aan de opnamen van het eerste volwaardige album Nightmares. Het album werd voltooid in april 2016 en verkocht inmiddels bijna 1000 exemplaren wereldwijd. Het album kreeg zeer goede recensies in bekende magazines als Aardschok (NL), Rock Tribune (BE) en Deaf Forever (DE).
Burning is beïnvloed door bands als Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Trouble, Witchfinder General en Ghost, maar heeft zijn eigen unieke sound. De bekende Nederlandse thriller schrijfster Bronja Hoffschlag bleek groot fan van de band te zijn en bood aan een aantal teksten voor Nightmares te schrijven. Burning deelde reeds het podium met bands als Diamond Head, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Vicious Rumors, Picture en Saxon O.D.
Met een frisse bezetting zijn zeer recent de opnames van de nieuwste langspeler P.I.D. afgerond en dieis zowel op cd als vinyl nagenouw uitverkocht.
